 Top 3 Malapascua Island Cebu

About

Malapascua is a Philippine Island situated in the Visayan Sea, 6.8 kilometers (4.2 mi) across a shallow strait from the northernmost tip of Cebu Island. Administratively, it is part of the peninsular barangay of Logon, Daanbantayan, Cebu. Malapascua is a small island, only about 2.5 by 1 kilometer (1.55 by 0.62 mi) and has eight hamlets.

This Island is located at Bantayan the north part of Cebu and in order to reach there you can reach the port faster (about 4 hours) with a non-aircon bus because they travel non-stop from Cebu City to Maya. Aircon buses make a lot of stops and can take 5-6 hours to complete the journey. A bus ticket costs 170 PHP for non-aircon and 230 PHP for aircon buses.

after arriving to the port there you can look for any available pambot to reach malapascua Island, the fare is around 150 per head from Port Maya to Malapascua Island

the rate of resort depends on which you might like are around 655 for the lowest and 5,317 for the highest. I won't go any details because each resort has their own views and scenery which you might like or prefer since the island is full of resorts to choose from.

This place is also well known for its white sands and the only way to access this island is via pump boat (usually variation as pambot in local languages) is an outrigger canoe (bangka 'boat') powered by a small gasoline or diesel engine. Smaller pump boats might be powered by the sort of small single-cylinder engine used to drive a water pump. Larger ones are often powered by recycled automobile engines.

What it would look like when riding a pamboat be,

The scenery of its white sands when arriving

When going to the island there's different ways to get there its either you book a resort hotel and ride on their pamboat or using the local way and arriving to port. The island is a hotspot of different hotels and restaurant, and there are foreigners and visitors on the island. The place is booming with people especially during summer, where they also held a boat parade around the island during its fiesta around may.
I will be showing my highlights of the place and what to expect during the trip.

They have a crystal-clear water most part of the island and the picture below is the port of the island.

As I said before that the Island are mostly hotels and restaurant, when I visited the area, I was currently staying at Crisol Beach

During this time, we were enjoying the wind outside it was windy and cold while playing some music, but it was an enjoyable time. This is the view of the resort I was staying during my visit there.

Moving on, Other than hotels and resorts
the place has Dive shops and a lot of Restaurants. Below I will be showing you the dishes that some of the restaurant that I have been on are serving.

If picking a restaurant, I highly suggest Maldito, Exotic and Hippocampus for a place to dine in.
Thats it for my Experience and recommendation to this Place. Thank you!
